Health Occupations
Students entering the Health Occupations Program will become familiar with various employment opportunities in the health care field with the focus on the roles and responsibilities of the nursing assistant. The clinical experience obtained within the framework of the program provides the student for gainful employment as a foundation for post secondary education.

Kelly Daubach
Kelly Daubach joined Parkside High School CTE in 2012, as a Health Occupations Instructor. Prior to Parkside CTE, she was the unit manager of an inpatient rehab and a homecare nurse for Wicomico and Worcester Counties. She is a graduate of Wor-Wic Community College, with an Associate Degree in Nursing and Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She will graduate from Frostburg State University in December 2021 with a Master of Science in Nursing Education.
Karen Bunn
Health Occupations Instructor
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. I am also a proud graduate of Wicomico County Schools and a graduate of the class I currently teach. I have been a nurse for over 25 years. I have a true passion for working with students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
