Students learn current techniques used by electricians in both construction and maintenance. Basic DC theory, magnetism, basic panel and booth wiring, and minor electrical building maintenance are taught. All instruction is based on the National Electric Code. Students read, interpret, and develop residential and light commercial wiring diagrams. The course includes both classroom and shop activity.
