Early Childhood Education
The Child Care Program provides training in the education and care of preschool and primary-aged children. The students operate an on-site program for children ages 3-5 under the direction of the instructor. Comprehensive instruction in child growth and development with an emphasis on both the child and caregiver is included. The course includes both classroom and shop activity.

I am proud to be a CTE Early Childhood Educator. Teaching is my passion and truly get excited to pass the art of teaching on to my students.

I began my career in education in 1983 as a middle school Family and Consumer Science Teacher. Over the years I have worked with children of all ages through direct instruction, summer camps, church youth leader, and the theater. My main goal is to help students find their passion in life and to give them the skills they need to stop dreaming and wishing for things to happen but the drive and support to make that passion a reality.
